PROFILE

Ms Humara Mahmood Afridi is a permanent faculty member of Women's College, AMU. As Assitant

Professor since 29.03.2000. She teaches Urdu to various undergraduate classes and groups. Besides

compulsory Urdu to Science Arts and Commerce groups, she teaches Mass Communication and poetry to

the Final year, Urdu Prose to I and II year.

MS. Afridi is actively involved in various Literary and Cultural societies of the University like Drma

Society, Creative Writers Forum, Mushaira Committee and Tour Committee .She has worked as Wardon

for Abdullah Hall and served the College as In charge of The College Magazine .She has participated in

various national and International seminars. Her articles have been published in international journals like

Global Education and Society Development.

Huma Mahmood Afridi also holds the member ship ofthe Bo-ard Of Directors in an NGO. Named SUR-

SAVERA dedicated to Social service like poverty eradication education upliftment, rural development and

aware ness regarding Health and Hygiene.

At present She is the General Warden Of New Hall for Engg. For Girls.
