Work experience Thames view infants school 9 – 22 March 2013 Bastable avenue Barking Essex IG11 0LG During my placement at Thames view infants school I worked Monday to Friday , 8:30 am to 3: 30pm. Iheld the position of a teaching assistant. My job mainly involved helping and looking after the young children with their class work and helping them with certain activities. This included photocopying, helping the children with their reading skills, drawing, using numeracy skills and helping them with their English skills. Also, the last day I was there, there was a fun day and I had to help organize everything and paint the children’s faces. This helped me gain confidential skills, communication skills and personal teaching skills.
