The For t Zumwalt/For t Zumwalt Nor th Hall of Fame acknow ledges and honors graduates who have demonstrated exceptional per sonal, community, or professional achievements, thereby honor ing their alma mater. The hope is that these nominees, and those to fol low, w i l l ser ve as an inspir ation for For t Zumwalt Nor th students in the future.

Individual plaques of the inductees are permanently displayed in the Hall of Fame, outside the main off ice. The plaques w i l l ser ve as constant, visual, posi tive examples

for al l students as they str ive to master the r igor s of academia, social/emotional grow th and character development.

Each year, on the Fr iday of Homecoming weekend, the Hall inducts new members. To learn more about the For t Zumwalt/For t Zumwalt Nor th Hall of Fame, visi t our school websi te: nhs.fz.k12.mo.us and cl ick on the "Hall of Fame" tab. Among our notable alum:

Our Hal l of Fame

Nor th High School is an exci ting, dynamic community of more than 1,400 students. We have received A+ designation by the Depar tment of Elementar y and Secondar y Education and have been honored, as a distr ict, by the State Board of Education for ?Distinction in Per formance.?

In order to provide the highest quali ty of instr uction, our faculty is committed to faci l i tating meaningful learning oppor tuni ties for al l Nor th High students. In addition, Nor th High features outstanding programs in al l areas of academics, f ine ar ts and athletics as well as countless oppor tuni ties to become involved in other extr acur r icular endeavors.

For t Zumwalt Nor th High School is one that is steeped in tr adi tion. For example, For t Zumwalt High School, which is cur rently Nor th Middle School, opened in 1960 to grades 7? 10. At that time the distr ict had an enrol lment of 1,100 students. The f i r st graduating class was the Class of 1963, where 54 students r eceived their high school diplomas. The f i r st class graduated from the new ly bui l t For t Zumwalt High School, now Nor th High, in 1977. Nor th High is the oldest and most

stor ied of our distr ict?s four comprehensive high schools and last spr ing graduated our 53rd class.
