CLINICAL EXPERIENCE:

1. AS A SPECIALIST IN PEDIATRIC ANESTHESIA IN THE CHILDREN’S

HOSPITAL “”LA PAZ” OF MADRID:

From May 5 1997 until March 2011: I have been staff of Anesthesiology and

Resuscitation in the Children’s Hospital La Paz of Madrid, where I carry out all types of

general, cardiac, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, traumatológica, urológica, plastic,

O.R.L., maxilofacial, ophthalmological, transplant cardiac, hepatic, renal and corneal

procedures.

I am also been the attending pediatric intensive care service thus I assist with the

critical postoperative care of all types of surgery mentioned above, in addition to major

acute burn treatment, polytraumatized children, and management of children with

foreign bodies in the lungs. I also attend to cardiorespiratory failures as they occur. I

was one of the group of eight anaesthesiologists that conduct congenital cardial surgery

at Hospital La Paz and that accomplishes transplants (cardiac, liver, intestinal, etc.)

Chairman of Anaesthesia, Intensive care and Pain Department. Puerta de Hierro

Hospital. Madrid. Spain.

From March 2011 to the present. Puerta de Hierro Hospitla is a 600 beds

hospital, with all tipes of surgeries including cardiac and thoracic surgery, and all tipes

of transplant programs. We are in charge of all postoperative intensive care patients

including transplants.
