FiBeR CoRneRCutovers from copper to fiber continue in Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) projects in several of our service areas, including the rural Choteau, Ennis and Big Sky areas. Customers are being contacted and appointments made for the final steps in the process.
Construction is now underway on this summer’s FTTH project in the Virginia City exchange, with Mastec North America as the contractor. Rocky Mountain Contractors are working in the north rural Twin Bridges area and some areas north of Ennis. Track Utilities is working in Big Sky in the Westfork area and along Highway 191. All contractors work closely with 3 Rivers personnel on these jobs and will contact you before entering or crossing your property. Work will continue through the fall, when residents will receive more specific information regarding the final process for cutting over from the old copper network to the new fiber optics, along with special offers from 3 Rivers on High Speed Internet and 3RTV Digital TV Service.
