CUBAN REVOLUTION(1959)(Introduction)

Cuba is called bowl of sugar.

Cuba revolution hero is Fidel Castro Ruz.

Cuba revolution is mainly conducted to dethroned the Batista.

Jose Marti(1894)

Cuban's freedom fight starts in 1894.

Jose Marti starts this.

He was a poet.

He died in 1896.

From Spain,Cuba got independence on May 20,1902.

Fulgencio Batista

He was dictator of cuba.

Revolution that led to the overthrow of General Fulgencio Batista's regime on January 1, 1959

Overall, citizens became rebellious because of economy and the direction of Cuba

Fidel Castro,Raul Castro and another one thirty five members are attack the moncada Barracks.

But they are failed because batista army is large, these are only 137.

Their average age is only 26.

After attacking

Fidel and Raul Castro were sentenced to prison after attacking.

Batista released all political prisoners including the Castros in 1954. Both men went to Mexico to train and gather followers and return to Cuba on a yacht, Granma, in 1956

After Comeback

After arrival, the made camp in Sierra Maestra mountains, and Batista forces could not defeat their small army.

They are only eighty two.They made a radio station themselves.

They did three wars-la plata,guisa and yaguajay.

Castros army took over Santa Clara and Batista fled to country.

Fidel Castro was first army chief and first prime minister was cardona but cardon resigned within month.

In 1976 he began president.

He faced 1961 cuban crises with very courage.

He increased litercy from 50% to 97%.

He nationlize health association and banking.

Ruled from 1959 to 2006.

Che Guevara

In this time Che Guevara entered into the Castro's army.

He was famous in Latin America.

He was a doctor.

He fight in many countries like Columbia, Cuba,Kango,Bolivia.

He died in 1967.

After Revolution

Fidel Castro received many problems like literacy,employments,poverty.

He ruled with Socilisam and held Comunist government.

So,he get another problem in the way of America.

He overcome this problem with help of Russia.This problem called Cuban crises.It held in 1961.

He developed Cuba all ways.

To develop their country in all ways like literacy,health organization and etc.
