APPLICATION

OPERATING CONDITIONS

DESIGN

The current transformers types IMW, IMP, IMS, ISW, INSOA areintended for supplying measuring instruments and protective circuitsof electrical power devices with maximum operating voltage 0,72 kVand frequency 50 Hz. These current transformers are manufacturedfor secondary currents 1 A or 5 A.The current transformers types IMR 0, IMR 1, IMR 2 are intended forsupplying measuring instruments and protective circuits of electricalpower devices with maximum operating voltage 0,72 kV andfrequency 50 Hz, particularly for fuse disconnectors of series SLMand SRE „Slim Line ”, size 00, 1, 2 and 3.

The current transformers are designed for operation in indoorequipment, in temperate (N3), tropical (T3) and marine (MU) climateconditions. Rated long–duration thermal current and limits ofdeviations of these transformers correspond to extended currentrange for 120%×I within the bounds of the ambient temperaturesfrom 268 K (-5°C) to 333 K (+60°C). Additionally the currenttransformers types INSOA, IMW, IMPa, IMPb, IMSa, IMSb, IMSc canoperate within the bounds of the ambient temperatures from 248 K(-25°C) to 333 K (+60°C).

The low voltage current transformers are single-phase, low powertransformers, operating in quasi short-circuit conditions andtransforming the current flowing through the primary circuit to thecurrent in the secondary circuit with the observance of therequirements relating to the accuracy of the transformation specifiedin standards.

The windings of the current transformers types INSOA, IMW, IMPa,IMPb, IMSa, IMSb are closed in the housings made of slow-burningmaterial.The current transformers types IMSc, IMSd and ISW as well as thetransformers of series IMR have the housings made of self -extinguishing polycarbonate.The current transformers are made for different types of primarycircuits, for busbars with cross-sectional dimensions from 20×5 mmup to set of two busbars 120 ×10 mm.The range of primary currentsfrom 1 A up to 5000 A.The secondary terminals of the current transformers types IMW, IMP,IMS, ISW and IMR 2 can be sealed.

The factory warranty is twenty four months since the day of puttingthe apparatus into operation, but not longer than thirty six monthssince the date of purchase.

The low voltage current transformer type IMScI = 600 A; I = 5 A; S = 10 VA; class 0,5; FS 5; for temperateclimate conditions.
