ENDICARE™ ETP-437 Proposed INCI Name: Polyquaternium-37 (and) Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate (and) Trideceth-6 DESCRIPTION Endicare™ ETP-437 is a cationic acrylic homopolymer dispersed in a mixture of the propylene glycol diesters of caprylic and capric acids. FEATURES and BENEFITS Ready to use thickener in liquid form Neutralization or temperature adjustment is not necessary in water-based systems Improves lubrication and skin cell resilience Thickens and stabilizes O/W emulsions regardless of oil type Compatible with cationic and nonionic emulsifiers Aids in suspension of solid particles Does not contain preservatives TYPICAL PROPERTIES Appearance @ 25°C (77°F) White mobile liquid Odor slightly acrylic Active Content 53%* Viscosity 500-3,000 cps (as supplied) (Brookfield RVT spindle 3 @ 30 rpm)* Viscosity 30,000-40,000 cps (2% solution) (Brookfield RVT spindle 6 @ 20 rpm)* pH (2% solution) 4 – 6* * Typical values which are not specifications APPLICATIONS Endicare™ ETP-437 is a liquid dispersion polymer developed specifically for cosmetic and personal care products. Hair care applications include after-shampoos, masks, and conditioning creams. Skin care applications include AHA and BHA based formulations, sunless tanning systems, and solvent-based formulations. Skin and hair care formulations are smooth with a non-greasy and non-sticky after feel. Rub-in and spreadability of highly thick and compact creams are easier and more uniform. The cationic nature of the polymer provides affinity for the skin and enhances water-proofing ability of the cosmetic formulation. This is an oil phase emollient that improves lubrication and skin cell resilience, combining with proteins to promote healthy skin. The product forms opaque gels and provides conditioning properties. The viscosity and stability of formulations made with Endicare™ ETP-437 are not influenced by high temperatures. STORAGE AND PACKAGING Endicare™ ETP-437 should be stored at a temperature between 10°C and 40°C. Store in original packaging or glass, stainless steel, plastic, or epoxy-lined container. Do not store in mild steel, copper, or aluminum containers. Endicare™ has a shelf life of twelve months. Endicare™ ETP-437 is available in 25 kg, 50 kg, or 130 kg drums, and 1,050 kg bulk containers. CAS Number: 26161-33-1 EINECS Number: Exempt polymer made from Monomer Number 225-733-5 REVISION DATE: 08/06/2010

APPLICATIONSEndicare™ ETP-437 is a liquid dispersion polymer developed specifically for cosmetic and personal care products.

STORAGE AND PACKAGINGEndicare™ ETP-437 should be stored at a temperature between 10°C and 40°C.
