gender equality and the empowerment of women. The CSW is instrumental in
promoting women’s rights, documenting the reality of women’s lives throughout the
world, and shaping global standards on gender equality and the empowerment of
women. Every year, representatives of Member States meet at the United Nations
in New York to evaluate gender equality, identify challenges, set global standards
and formulate adequate policies to promote equality and advancement of women
worldwide. This commission tries to focus on each, and every single right that
women might have. What this committee expects, in case a woman is being
treated improperly, either in accordance with her rights, obligations or actions that
she has done, they will have always the right to defend themselves, but for them to

to defend them or protect them. In conclusion, the commission on the Status of
Women does the women rights be accomplish in a justice way, in which everyone

II. Statement of the problem
Women Empowerment in the Political World has been a major issue worldwide;
this refers to people of any gender, stressing the distinction between biological sex
and gender as a role as it also refers to other marginalized genders in a particular
political or social context. Empowering women to participate fully in economic life
across all sectors is essential to build stronger economies, achieve internationally
agreed goals for development and sustainability, and improve the quality of life for
women, men, families and communities.
The empowerment and autonomy of women and the improvement of their
political, social, economic, and health status is highly important. In addition, it is
essential for the achievement of sustainable development. The full participation
and partnership of both women and men is required in productive and reproductive
life, including shared responsibilities for the care and nurturing of children and
maintenance of the household. In all parts of the world, women are facing threats
to their lives, health and well- being as a result of being overburdened with work
and of their lack of power and influence. In most regions of the world, women
receive less formal education than men, and at the same time, women's own
knowledge, abilities and coping mechanisms often go unrecognized.
Education is one of the most important means of empowering women with the
knowledge, skills and self-confidence necessary to participate fully in the
development process. Countries should act to empower women and should take
steps to eliminate inequalities between men and women, by establishing
mechanisms for women's equal participation and equitable representation at all
levels of the political process and public life in each community and society and
enabling women to articulate their concerns and needs or promoting the fulfillment
of women's potential through education, or skill development

III. Topic Information
a) History of the topic
The issue of the Women Empowerment in the Political World has been present
since ancient times. Empowerment is the process by which the women achieve
increased control and participation in decision making which in turn helps to
achieve equal basis with men in various spheres – political, economic, social,
cultural and civil. More than 40 years ago, the Universal Declaration of Human
Rights asserted, "everyone has the right to education". In 1990, Governments
meeting at the World Conference on Education for all in, Thailand committed
themselves to the goal of universal access to basic education. But they also say
that this physical education needs to be a plied not only for men and kids, also for
women. In the simplest words, empowering the women means creating such an
environment in which they can take independent decisions for their personal
development and the development of society in general.
b) Current Issues: .
Globally, women have fewer opportunities for economic participation than men,
less access to basic and higher education, greater health and safety risks, and less
political representation to guarantee the rights of women and giving them
opportunities to reach their full potential is critical not only for attaining gender
equality, but also for meeting a wide range of international development goals.
Empowered women and girls contribute to the health and productivity of their
families, communities, and countries, creating a ripple effect that benefit. This issue
is commonly happening in the urban areas, as the ones that have fewer resources.
The problem essentially is routed in gender disparity in India. Gender disparity
manifests itself in various forms, the most obvious being the trend of continuously
declining female ratio in the population in the last few decades. Social stereotyping
and violence at the domestic and societal levels are some of the other

manifestations. Discrimination against girl children, adolescent girls and women
persists in parts of the country. The gender disparity can be understood that it
exists by looking at the sex ration in India, which stands at 933.
c) United Nation Actions
The United Nations have always been working on protecting women rights, as
more than 90 governments have made concrete commitments to overcome gender
equality gaps at, and since, a historic event by UN Women and the People’s
Republic of China, “Global Leaders’ Meeting on Gender Equality and Women’s
Empowerment. The United Nations always have help of other committees as
ECOSOS or UNODC, but these issue of Women Empowerment on Political Worlds
may need to be solve by just the committee of Commission on the Status of
Women (CSW)) Education is one of the most important means of empowering
women with the knowledge, skills and self-confidence necessary to participate fully
in the development process. Countries should act to empower women and should
take steps to eliminate inequalities between men and women, by establishing
mechanisms for women's equal participation and equitable representation at all
levels of the political process and public life in each community and society.

affecting many countries and people since many years ago. The United Nations is

of law is move for solving this issue of Women Empowerment in the Political World,
sometimes may be bad or may cause damage to other decisions, always try to

importance of searching better information, since you will be the point of issue, in
