Spell CheckSpell Check

Suppose you key some text…

… and spell something wrong

(Do you know what’s wrong in the example above?)

This line contains a mispelled word.

If you click on the Tools Menu and click on “Spelling and Grammar” option, the text in your document is checked against Word’s dictionary.

If a word does not match the dictionary, a window pops up showing possibilities.

You can click on the suggested spelling to choose a replacement and then click on the [Change] button at the right.

The word is replaced by the spelling you selected and Word continues to check the rest of the document.

This line contains a misspelled word.

Of course, if you meant to key the word in question and think it is OK, then you can click on the [Ignore] button on the right to accept the word as you keyed it.
