CSR Update 36 More @ www.bryair.com & www.mathradaspahwa.com DRI Udaan Community Water Center (CWC) was set-up in Kaduki village, Alwar around three years ago. Villagers in the region were facing severe health problems and inconvenience without potable drinking water facilities. After the installation of DRI Udaan CWC, community members have access to safe and puried drinking water which has improved health conditions. The community also avails this clean drinking water facility on special occasions, wedding ceremonies, social events etc. More than ve villages in Alwar - Kaduki, Dholi Dhoob, Dhera Market, Dalalpur, and Tawadpur benet from DRI Udaan CWC. 62 year-old farmer, Mr. Amin Khan shares, “Mai kahna chahunga ki, DRI Udaan samuhik jal kender ka sudh paani ki suvidha, hamare aur aas-pass ke samudaaiyo ke har ghar tak sudhi pani, acche or swastha jivan k liye lagaatar pahuchta rahe” (Puried water supply from DRI Udaan Community Water Center helps our community, as well as nearby ones, access safe drinking water for good health and well-being.) Clean Drinking Water at Kaduki DRI Udaan Community Water Center (CWC) has also been set-up in Haliaki and Chilarki villages of Gurugram. Steps Towards Swachhata DRI has constructed toilets for 37 households in Kaduki and other villages in Alwar in partnership with Sapna NGO. Community members couldn't afford to install toilets and lacked awareness regarding hygiene and sanitation. Launched in 2015, as an initiative to improve health and sanitation, the toilets are being built regularly in Kaduki and its surrounding villages, to improve living conditions, as well as spread awareness about adequate sanitation and the importance of maintaining hygiene. The individual household toilets have beneted many families and are set-up in the following villages – Kaduki, Chandoli, Nanglimunshi, Todiyar and Nandelhedi. DRI Beneciary, Mr. Nand Ram shares, “Humare pas pahle toilet ki suvidha nahi thi, ghar ki mahilao ko bahar jane mein pareshani hoti thi, lekin Sapna NGO ki madat se humein toilet ki suvidha mili or ab ghar ke bahar na hi jana padta ha” (DRI has helped us by providing an individual household toilet and made life convenient for the women in our family.)
