residents to garner to the BPL children nearby belonging primarily to the tribal
community.
Pipeline Sphere will organise this awareness health program this year along the
pipeline operational areas across three states of West Bengal, Assam and Bihar
for the greater benefit of the public and the school children. This project will
mainly target the school health and will be a yearly program under CSR project
of PLS, Oil India Limited.
Hygiene kits were also distributed among the school children and all the
students were made aware through interactive sessions in Health, Safety and
Fitness. The Health Camp covered more than 600 people including students and
local people. OPD facilities were extended to the local people of the area who
otherwise have to walk long distance for a simple medicine. This initiative was
also another ‘first’ in the area.
The local and the State media covered both the events through newspapers and
television in West Bengal and was lauded with appreciation.
The media snippets are also attached for ready reference.
The CSR activity was dedicated for the people especially extending service for
improving health, safety and environment in and around Pipeline operational
