Built as three separate buildings, the complex includes several buildings and outbuildings and a landlocked courtyard all adjacent to the original industrial rail lines of the great industrial period in the United States. The original structures were generally built of multiwythe masonry exterior walls and heavy timber columns, beams and decking of long leaf yellow pine.This species was prized for its density and common during that period of time. In 2010, the building was purchased and its future became a long road to an Adaptive Re-Use and restoration development project. The 100 Year old plus building was converted to eighty-Five (85) residential loft type apartments which received landmark approval for Historic Preservation by the National Parks Service.
