Connect
• The use of using craft sticks to put students into groups based on their choice
of colour.
• The aim of this is to use group work to recap last week’s session. This covers
differentiation.Poundland Pedagogy
Share
• Select a group colour to explain their understanding of the learning
outcomes to the rest of the class.
Present
• Put an answer in each balloon, relating to the new topic to be covered.
• Each group to ‘pop’ their balloon and find out what their question and knowledge
behind this subject would be.
• 20 minute activity
Apply • Each group to present their findings/knowledge to
each of the other groups.
• The groups learning new knowledge write down key themes/words on each of their coloured paper chains.
• Once each group have delivered their knowledge, the chains can be linked together as a whole subject and
used for revision.
Recall and Review
5 minutes memory recap on everything they have learnt and can remember on their
subject knowledge from today’s session.
Giving feedback on the session.
