Model Issues

• From magnetogram to corona– Synoptic magnetic field– Plasma parameters– How to heat the corona?

• From corona to solar wind– How to match observations at the Sun and Earth?– We need to move to full qualitative models

(providing plasma and magnetic field parameters)• STEREO images cannot be interpreted

without qualitative 3D models

• Components of the framework can be easily selected for use.

• Some components have multiple versions or even alternative models
