Graduate Certificate Program in Computer Security &

Information Assurance (CSIA)

4 Graduate Courses (12 credit hours)

• Minimum grade of a B

• Credit for all CSIA courses may be applied to MS in CS, MS in Cybersecurity, or Ph.D. programs, at any time

• Good for those who want to get into the CSIA field but already have an MS or do not have time to fully engaged in a MS-CS program.

Ph.D. Program in Computer Science

For Direct Ph.D. Degree students: 54 credit hours (minimum of 18 credit hours of course work available for graduate credit and minimum of 12 credit hours of dissertation research credits.

For post-Master’s Ph.D. students: 18 credit hours of course work available for graduate credit and 12 credit hours of dissertation research credits.

Course requirements: At least one course from each of the following three areas:

1. Theory
