Overview The FSK10113 Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways course crossover electives of business, digital media and design, providing a practical and relevant range of subjects for students who are looking for a pathway to employment or future educational study fields.

Our Foundation Skills programs have been designed to assist students broaden their opportunities to achieving their education and workplace outcomes.

The course is delivered over 2 days per week, over 25 teaching weeks with up to 6 weeks holidays. The units delivered in the courses are:

FSKDIG02 Use digital technology for simple workplace tasks FSKLRG08 Use simple strategies for work-related learning FSKNUM08 Identify and use whole numbers, simple fractions, decimals and percentages for work FSKNUM09 Identify, measure and estimate familiar quantities for work FSKOCM03 Participate in simple spoken interactions at work FSKRDG07 Read and respond to simple workplace information FSKWTG06 Write simple workplace information FSKLRG07 Use strategies to identify job opportunities

Media Electives CUADIG304 Create visual design components Business Electives BSBWOR202 Organise and complete daily work activities Design Electives CUADIG202 Develope digital imaging skills

Entry Requirements Though the training package does not stipulate any entry requirements, EIP uses the following criteria for entry into this qualification: Domestic Students: - (covers Australian citizens, residents and any other visa holders, permitted to study in Australia, except those on student visas). - Age 18+ o LLN test (Depending on test results, they will be placed into the appropriate FSK level I or II offered at EIP). - Year 10+ or equivalent preferable (however, not mandatory)EIP International College does not accept applications from students under 18 years of age. International Students on Student Visas: - Age 18+ (if course offered in the future)

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) There are no RPL arrangements for this course at EIP International College.
