Critical Reflection Question 4:

How did you integrate technologies – software,

hardware and online in this project?

Through Photoshop I was able to edit my images by correcting the blemishes on the models skin, adding to the brightness of the image or changing the colour balance of the image.

This crafts the images and adds to the professional look I’m trying to

give to my magazine. Additionally I have used the

brightness and contrasts tool to lighten the image but also to a little bit emphasize the shadows on the images. Additionally I have used tool such as the: hue and saturation tool; the levels tool; the Black and white tool etc.

I have done this to enhance my images and create the perceived

notion of beauty, in today’s society.

When taking my photos I use different camera shots and angles such as: close ups, low angle shots, full length and medium close ups.

Different camera shots and angles will create variety and will seem

less monotonous or similar to other pop magazines.

How I would use online software to market my

magazine online To get more people interested in

my magazine, I would use Social Media sites such as: Facebook or Twitter, to advertise and raise the audience awareness to my magazine.

For example on the advertisement I could offer sales

or deals that might get the audience to buy my magazine.

Once my magazine is established I would have an online edition of my magazine.

An online magazine would allow my audience to easily get a hold

of my magazine. It could also increase the

amount of viewers and subscriptions to my magazine.
