Crowns and bridges are used for prosthetic reconstruction purposes in order to replace damaged or missing teeth. Full crowns and bridges consist of metal alloys which can be produced by investment casting of 3D printed parts.

3D Model Support Structures
PREPARATIONPrior to the printing process, the crowns and bridges have to be prepared for printing. A 3D printing software helps to place the model on the building platform. Also, support structures have to be added.
