Use a tool that’s fit for purpose.
(Access, cost, connectivity, literacy, language)
Advertise it….
Crowdsourcing shouldn’t be extractive.
What’s in it for those who participate?
Responsiveness is motivating.
Privacy and protection matter to everyone.
(Do no harm!)
Inclusion and representation require a purposeful effort.
Tech is not necessarily cheaper, easier, more effective or automated.
Budget for people too.
Mobile operators are probably not interested in your project.
WIFT? (what’s in it for them?)
Crowdsourcing or using a mobile data collection tool =/ having designed great research.
The devil is always in the details.
