Why Mobile first?| Camelot Global is a provider of lottery and technology services to Lotteries around the world,

with Camelot UK, the operator of the UK National Lottery, our sister company and biggest customer.

| Camelot UK has sold ‘eGaming’ products since 2003, but their legacy platform was holding them back. They now have a Mobile first vision for the following reasons :

Evolution towards DigitalAll industries are moving more and more towards digital, and lottery is no different

Player AccessTheir players want broader access anywhere and anytime

Player DataRetail is still a huge element of the UK business, but they do not know anything about their retail players

Closed ArchitectureTheir Legacy systems are complex and costly to integrate new third party systems and tools

QualityRetail system is generally covered by error prone manual testing, and isn’t conducive to modern testing practises

Player DemographicThe general playing demographic is older and they would like to attract the ‘younger player’

42%Conversion rate from Mobile and Tablet devices

47%Interactive sales are on mobile and tablet devices

So they will continue to invest in Mobile…..

Challenges - As Camelot Global we face……

| regulators insisting that we are inclusive to all players

| the mobile space being highly fragmented with regards to devices and OS

| cost challenges with regards to building and maintaining an up-to-date device suite

| truly understanding our products as we cannot play the Lottery as Camelot Staff

| our customer’s expectation to release products and features to the market much faster

| our customer’s needs to react to player and industry feedback and changes

| our customer’s desire to want to test and learn more and more

| integrity being paramount to all of our customers

So how does the Crowd help us?

It gives us the device and OS coverage we need during our testing

It save us money as we don’t have to buy all devices

It helps give real user feedback during our delivery cycles

It allows for us easily test out of hours and on weekends

It helps shorten and reduce the cost of our test cycles

It helps us react to changes, quickly – player feedback, new devices etc.

We can test and learn before we go live

It helps build confidence in the products and systems we build for our customers

End Result….

| Its becoming widely used in Business As Usual activities and projects

| We use it to keep check that production is stable

| We are looking to formally embed the use of the crowd into our transition test strategies

| We see the crowd as complimentary to our internal test team
