Creative Communications TWIN PINE CASE STUDY
Our Challenge
Twin Pine Casino & Hotel offers a special location
for wine lovers, being just a short drive from
California’s world-famous Napa Valley. The
Middletown Rancheria of Pomo Indians have spent
20 years building a casino and hotel out of nothing,
making it into the highly successful property it is
today. However, Twin Pine wanted to reach out
to more people, not just wine lovers who like a
spot of poker or pull of the slot machines. Their
20th anniversary presented a great opportunity to
showcase all that they had to offer – the rich heritage
of their tribe, top-notch table games and slot
machines, first-class accommodations, great casual
and fine dining options, hundreds of award-winning
nearby wineries, and the stunning natural beauty of
Northern California. The Pomo Tribe turned to Crowd
to solve the problem. Our challenge was to present
them in a way that appealed to a wider audience.
Our Solution
With our partner agency, Turnstile, we created a
microsite, TV adverts and social strategy for the
campaign.
CASE STUDYTWIN PINE
Customers can use the fully responsive site to
embark on a virtual journey from San Francisco,
through the Napa Valley and finally to Twin Pine
whatever device they are using. It shows the
customer in style just what sights there are to see
when visiting. The microsite takes the user on a
journey through time as well. We celebrated the
history of the Pomo Tribe, talking about their past
as much as their present success. The site glides
through their heritage, bringing their story to life.
As an added bonus for their 20th anniversary
celebration, Twin Pine are also offering the chance to
win one of four Indian Motorcycles. We’ve turned it
into an offer you can’t refuse with sleek visuals and a
taster video of a first-person bike ride.
The Results
Twin Pine’s customers love the site.
Twin Pine have been receiving new room bookings
from new customers. The campaign runs from
September 2014 to December 2014. A full report
