Being a parent is challenging. We all want to set our children up for success in life. But how exactly do we acheive that?

Over 30 years of research shows that you give children the best chance for success in life when you’re involved in their education. When you’re hands-on from an early age, kids tend to adapt well to school, get better grades, and have better behavior and social skills.

As a cooperative school, all of the parents assist in the classroom and help operate the school. We work with a Bellevue College parent educator who advises us in our monthly Parent Education classes. We get the opportunity to learn and grow together with our preschoolers.

We all need friends in life. Our school is a great way to build a community around your family. Some of the friends you make here can even last a lifetime.

Our Preschool Style

Our learning approach is based on the most up-to-date research and blends the best of Reggio, Montessori and Waldorf with a STEAM twist. We have a multi-age classroom of 3, 4 and 5 year olds. We run our Pre-K class in addition to the main multi-age classroom.

We’ve got spacious, sensory-rich indoor and outdoor spaces where children are free to explore. We also schedule fun field trips every month. It’s a great place for curious minds and busy hands.

Crossroads Cooperative Preschool is a 501(c)(3) non-profit associated with Bellevue College and governed by an elected parent board. As a non-profit, we offer a unique and affordable program. Our cooperative model allows you to truly be invested in your child’s learning and development by working in the classroom a few days a month. Our low adult-to-child ratio helps teachers and parents work together to focus the children’s sparks of interest to build, pretend, invent and create.
