    For best results, be sure to use the yarn

    recommended in the pattern, and purchase

    enough of one dye lot to complete your

    project. It is a good idea to retain ball bands in

    case of inquiry.

    Before you begin to crochet check your gauge

    by making a test swatch and adjusting hook

    size, if necessary, to obtain the gauge quotedin the pattern. Inaccurate gauge results in an

    item too large or too small. Even a variation of
