To be able to plan and analyze complex
projects that include a lot of tasks and
dependencies.
Procedure
1. Identify all the tasks, their lengths and dependencies between them.
2. List the tasks in the task table.
3. Each task is represented by a line in the diagram with one start node and one end node.
4. Write the task designation and length on the line representing each task.
Procedure
5. Process is drawn starting from left
towards the right.
6. More than one task can start at the
same node.
7. More than one task can finish at the
same node.
8. Each node should be numbered with
the EST and LST.
