1. INTRODUCTION

Verily all praises are for Allah, we praise Him, we seek His aid and ask for His

forgiveness, and we seek Allah’s refuge from the evils of ourselves and from

our evil actions.

Whomsoever Allah guides then there is none to misguide him, and

whomsoever Allah misguides then there is none to guide him. I testify that

absolutely no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no wali, nobody! Has the

right to be worshipped but Allah alone, there is no power and no strength

except from Allah, The most high, Most great and most powerful. And I testify

that Muhammad (saw) is His slave and His Messenger.

The source of all evil is the deviation from the truth and its straight path. The

goodness of all matters is the following the truth and adhering to it.

There is no creator or any lord other than Allah, Allah alone has created

everything in the world. Allah is perfect, without any deficiency or error.

Anything which deviates from the way of Allah is destined to be destroyed,

ruined. Quran[20:123-124]

2. Preface

In this book I will be analyzing the poetry of Alama Moulana Gulam Rasool

Hami, Who has written and published his poetry in the monthly magazine

named: GOUSS-UL-AZAM in the month of September 2014.

In his poetry, moulana has done a mountainous error. The error is so huge

that it had made me to write this book, in order to point out the error to those

who follow him in particular and others in general.

It is a serious evil for a Muslim that he should look down upon his brother Muslim. All things of a Muslim are inviolable for his brother in faith: his blood, his wealth and his honour. Muslim [ Book 32 : Hadith 6219]

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

Allah's Apostle said, "Do not hate one another, and do not be jealous of one another, and do

not desert each other, and O, Allah's worshipers! Be brothers. Lo! It is not permissible for any

Muslim to desert (not talk to) his brother (Muslim) for more than three days." Bukhari [ Volume: 8 ::

Book 73 :: Hadith 91 ]

know it”.

و ا ا وا ا وأ ن •

And cover not Truth with falsehood, nor conceal the Truth when ye know (what it is).QURAN [2:42]

And whoever tells a lie on me intentionally, will surely take his place in the (Hell) Fire." Bukhari [Volume 4 :: Book 56 :: Hadith 667 ]

4. What is Eeman? The faith or ‘Eeman’ is the declaration of, “There is no god but Allah,

Muhammad(saw) is the Messenger of Allah”, and its acceptance by the heart.

The meaning of the first part of the declaration of faith, “there is no god but

Allah”, is that nothing other than Allah is worthy of worship. This denies the

attribution of divinity to all other things, and affirms it as a quality which

belongs to Allah alone.

Ibn Taymiyah said:

“The heart will not find complete happiness except by loving Allah and by

striving towards what is dear to Him. It is not possible to achieve this love

except by rejecting all things that compete with it. This is what the words,

There is no god but Allah, mean; this is the spirit of the deen of Ibrahim and of

that of every other prophet.” Ibn Taimiya, Majmu al-Fatawaa, vol 28, p.32. Riyadh.

“Whoever rejects false deities and believes in Allah has grasped a firm

handhold which will never break.” QURAN (2:256)

As for the second part of the declaration, “Muhammad is the Messenger of

Allah”, this means that we do what the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant

him peace, has told us to do, and stop doing what he has told us not to do.

5.What is Tawheed?

Tawheed means the absolute oneness of Allah. The belief of Tawheed

(Monotheism) is so important or crucial in the deen of Islam, That even a

slight error in its understanding and implementation can take one into the

abyss of the huge and unforgivable sin of shirk.

1) Tawheed Ur Ruboobyah (Tawheed of lordship) means:

• To believe in the Absolute Oneness of Allah.

• He alone is the master, creator and regulator of all affairs.

• He alone is The Creator, The Sustainer, The Cherisher, The All

Mighty, The Provider, The Bestower, and The Originator.

• There is absolutely no lord but Allah alone, without any partner.

• To Allah belong all things in heaven and earth: Verily Allah is He

(that is) Free of all wants, Worthy of all praise.

• He is the lord of worlds.

• Allah is the absolute executor of actions in the universe.

2) Tawheed Ul Uloohiyyah (Tawheed of worship) means:

• To believe in the Absolute Oneness of Allah as the One and Only

‘Ilaah’ of the worlds!

• He alone deserves to be worshiped.

• Complete love of Allah accompanied by complete submission to

Allah.

w w w . U m m a h H e l p l i n e . c o m

Page 9

• All types of worship (love, fear, hope, supplication, obedience,

submission etc.) are directed purely and sincerely towards Allah

alone.

• Worship Allah and join none with Him in worship. Quran(4:36)

• A servant absolutely cannot supplicate anyone other than Allah.

3) Tawheed Asma Wa Sifaat (Tawheed of names and attributes)

means:

• To believe in all the Exclusive and Noble Names and Attributes of

Allah.

• Allah is characterized by all the attributes of perfection, is above

all defects and deficiencies, and he alone is distinguished from

rest of the creation by these characterized.

• Not to share any of His Exclusive Attributes with anyone or

anything in His creation!

• There is nothing like him.

And who is more astray than one who invokes besides Allah such as will not

answer them until the Day of Judgment, and who (in fact) are unconscious of their

call (to them)? Al-Quran [46:5]

9. What is shirk.

Shirk is the only biggest sin that Allah will never forgive, and the one

involved in the huge sin of shirk will abode in hell And for such wrong

doers there will absolutely be no one to help.

Whoever commits 'shirk' (invoking anything with Allah), Allah shall forbid for him Paradise, and Hell

shall be his abode. And for such wrong doers there will be no one to help. Al-Quran[5:72]

If you commit 'shirk' all your works will be rendered vain and you will be among the

losers. Therefore, you should worship Allah Alone, and be among His grateful servants. Al-

Quran[39:65-66]

Shirk (associating other deities with Allah) is the only sin that Allah does not forgive, and He forgives,

whomsoever He pleases, sins other than this. For whosoever associates any other partner with Allah,

does indeed forge a big lie and commits the most heinous sin. Al-Quran[4:48]

'Shirk' has three main parts:

1. Shirk in Allah's person: if one claims that Allah has a creator, or a father

or a mother, or a brother, or a sister or a daughter, or a son would

be committing the mountainous sin of shirk in Allah’s person.

2. Shirk in Allah's Attributes: there are 99 attributes of allah mentioned in the

glorious quran, like 'Al-Aleem' (The All Knowing), 'As-Samee' (The All Hearing), 'Al-

Qader' (The One who is Able to do all things). Saying that anyone other than Allah can

do all things is shirk.

w w w . U m m a h H e l p l i n e . c o m

Page 24

3. Shirk in Allah's Rights: if one worships, supplicates, prostrates, anything

other than Allah, one is committing the huge sin of shirk, if one love

anyone or anything more than Allah, one is committing the sin of

shirk.

Allah Alone deserves that we pray to Him, call on Him, serve Him, sacrifice for Him, fear

Him, and obey His laws.

End Note And who is more astray than one who invokes besides Allah such as will not answer them until the

Day of Judgment, and who (in fact) are unconscious of their call (to them)? Al-Quran[46:5]

Dear hami sahib, I request you to please review what you have

written. We are brothers in faith, and I care for you and your follower’s

wellbeing in the aakhirah.

Allah Says in the glorious Quran: There is indeed the best example for you to follow in the Messenger of Allah, for every such person

looks forward to Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah much. Al-Quran [33:21]

Dear Hami sahib, I love you and respect you a lot, and that is why i

have tried to correct you, only to earn good will from Allah. There was

nothing personal in it. I cannot and will not argue with you, but i would

like to say to have a look on the poetry page, and tell me what you

had written. May Allah guide you and me to truth? AAmin
