Course Description
Students will learn all aspects of musical theater production including
singing, dancing, acting, set paintings, and costume design. Students will rotate for the first
two weeks and come together on the 3rd week to rehearse their productions on stage. Students
will work collectively to produce a musical theater performance from a
junior musical.

July 16 at 6:30pm
in the Jackon Liberty High School Fine Arts Auditorium.

InstructorsDistrict approved educators
Bobbie Allaire: Art Instructor at Jackson Memorial HS for the past 20 years and teacher of art at Johnson and Rosenauer Elementary Schools for 3 years. Developed an art program for K-12 at St. Mary’s Academy in Lakewood. JMHS Musical Production Manager and Designer for 18 years and JMHS Director of Musical Theater since 2012.
Jamie Allaire: A graduate of JMHS with a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. Jamie has been working on musical theater designs since she was 12 and has been the Production Manager and Set Designer for JMHS since 2011.
Edmund Robertson: Music Instructor at Jackson Memorial High School for 24 years and has been the vocal director for JMHS musicals for 8 years. As JMHS Director of Choirs, he prepares three vocal ensembles for annual concerts and community events. He also teaches piano lab and music theory classes.
Cori Bott: Cori Bott is a graduate of William Paterson University where she studied Classical Voice with a concentration in Music Management. Cori is an alumnus of Jackson Memorial High school. Following high school she focused on helping others with their singing. Cori is the Assistant Director at JMHS for their Spring Musical.
Alyssa Derling: Alyssa Derling is Artistic Director of Derling Dance Arts, a professional not for profit modern dance & musical theatre company operating out of Red Bank NJ. Alyssa holds her BFA in Modern Dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Alyssa has been teaching dance & movement for the past ten years all over the tri-state area and she is an active board member with DanceNewJersey.

Jessica Singer: A graduate of JMHS with a BA and certification in Art Education from Georgian Court University. Jess has been working on musical the-ater designs since 2013 and is now the Production Manager for Jackson Memorial High School. This is her second year doing set design for the camp!
Shannon Brueckner: Arts Administration, The-ater Emphasis and Musical Theater Minor from Westminster College of the Arts at Rider University. Shannon has trained with a handful of Broadway professionals. She is the owner of the Sound Garden School of Music in Freehold, NJ where she is artistic director, Choreographer for the Musical Theatre Pro-gram as well as teaches Vocal and Piano lessons.
