Incident: Assault 1st (Cutting)

Location: 7700 block of S. Broadway

Date/Time: 8/17/13 @ 17:03

Victim: 51-year old white male

Suspect: UnknownThe victim stated he was sitting on the park bench when an unknown suspect cut him

with a knife on his hand. The victim refused to provide a description of the suspect or

direction of travel. The victim refused medical attention. The investigation is ongoing.

Incident: Assault 1st

Location: 3300 block of MissouriDate/Time: 8/17/13 @ 10:50

Victim: 60-year old black male

Suspect: 48-year old white male (in custody)The victim and suspect, who are known to one another, were engaged in a verbal

altercation, when the suspect grabbed a knife from his pants pocket, and stabbed the

victim in his leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was listed asstable. The suspect was taken into custody.

Location: 3500 block of MorganfordDate/Time: 8/17/13 @ 1335

Victim: 21-year old black female

Suspect: UnknownThe victim stated she was involved in an argument with several black females, one of

which cut her on the arm, with an unknown object. Thirteen arrests were made forGeneral Peace Disturbance, however, no weapon was recovered. The victim was

transported to an area hospital for medial treatment. The investigation is ongoing.

Location: 900 block of ChouteauDate/Time: 08/17/2013 @ 2058


Suspect: Unknown

Officers responded to a call for a Shooting at the above location. Upon officers arrival,they observed a security officer, who was applying pressure to the victims shoulder. The

victim had suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder. While at the scene, the victim was

uncooperative and did not provide any information regarding this incident. The security

stated that he heard approximately 4 gun shots, radiating from a southerly direction from

the above location. He then observed the victim running west from the intersection of S.

9th street and Chouteau where he entered a parking lot and sought assistance from thesecurity officer. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is listed as

stable. The investigation is ongoing.


/Robbery

Location: Chouteau & S 14th

Date/Time: 08/17/13 @ 2230

Victim: 41-year old white male

Suspects: 3 black males, one armed with a knife no further

The victim stated he was walking east on Chouteau when the three suspects approachedand knocked him to the ground. One of the suspects reached into his pocket taking his

money. During the struggle, one of the suspects displayed a knife and the victim was cut

in the wrist. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The

investigation is ongoing.

Incident: Assault 1st (Shooting)

Location: 3100 block of Olive

Date/Time: 08/18/13 @ 0130

Victim #1: 22-year old black male (GSW to calf)

Victim #2: 24-year old black male (GSW to abdomen)

Victim #2: 34-year old black male (GSW to thigh)

Victim #4: 20-year old black male (GSW to foot)

Suspect: 27- year old black male (in custody)Officers working secondary at the Loft Night Club outside heard gunshots coming from

the area near the BP gas station. The officers went to the BP gas station where they foundVictim #1 with a gunshot wound to the calf. He was transported to an area hospital where

he is listed as stable. Investigation revealed a group of males were sitting on the suspect's

car and refused to move. After an argument and physical altercation, the suspect retrieved

a gun from his vehicle and began firing gunshots at the group. As witnesses were beinginterviewed, the suspect came back to the scene and was arrested. A gun was recovered

from the suspect. Victims #2, #3 and #4 suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to

an area hospital by unknown persons. All three victims are listed as stable.

Location: 5900 block of Dr. Martin Luther King

Date/Time: 08/18/13 @ 0120

Victim #1: 18-year old black male


Suspect: 42-year old black male (in custody)The victims were involved in a verbal altercation with the suspect at the above location.

The suspect went to a vehicle and retrieved a gun and fired numerous shots at the victims

as they fled from the area. The suspect entered the passenger side of the vehicle and fledthe scene. Officers observed a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle.

The officers stopped the vehicle and the suspect was taken into custody and the gun was

recovered. Victim #1 sustained a gunshot wound to his buttocks. He was transported to

an area hospital for treatment. Victim # 2 sustained a graze to his arm. He wastransported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.

Date/Time: 8/18/13 @ 0140



Suspect(s): Unknown

The victims were walking to their vehicle and heard several gun shots. Victim #1 feltpain in his back and observed that Victim #2 had also been injured. Neither victim could

determine where the shots were being fired from but believed they came from a passing

vehicle. The victims entered their vehicle and drove to an area hospital for treatment.Victim #1 was treated for a graze wound to his back and released. Victim #2 sustained

two gunshots to his foot and one gunshot to his hip. He is listed in serious/stable

condition. Victim #2 was uncooperative during the investigation. The investigation isongoing.

Incident: Assault 1st (Shooting)

Location: 4500 block of Garfield

Date/Time: 08/18/13 @ 0452


Suspect: Unknown

The victim stated he was parking his vehicle in the 4500 block of Garfield whenunknown person(s) began shooting at him striking him multiple times. The victim drove

himself to a gas station in the 4600 block of Martin Luther King where the employees

contacted police. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is listed incritical/stable condition. The investigation is on going.
