    GRAVE FELONIES - are those in which the

    law attaches a capital punishment or a

    penalty which is afflictive in any of its

    periods.

    LESS GRAVE FELONIES - are those in which

    the penalties in their maximum period are

    correctional.

    LIGHT FELONIES - are those infractions of

    law in which the penalty is arresto menor

    or a fine not exceeding 200 pesos or both.
