Dear Readers!

Assalaam-o-Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatahu

It is a globally acknowledged fact that Prophet of Islam (S.A.W) was the supremely sucsessful man in the entire human history. He was not just a hero, but he was also the best example for all mankind. He has shown entire mankind the way of achieving supreme success in this world and the hereafter.

Our relationship to the Prophet (S.A.W) is at the core of our entire religion. He is human, not divine, but he is our connection to the deity. He relays to us the word of Allah and he explains what the word means. He sets a personal example that we look at not just for admiration but emulation. Our relationship to him is legal as well as personal; moral as well as spiritual; intellectual as well as emotional. Allah chose him to guide us, educate us, inspire us and purify us – and we remain indebted forever.

In the current issue of Crescent, we have tried to present a unique collection of thought-provoking and faith-strengthening articles on Seerat-Un-Nabi (S.A.W). Different aspects of the life and teachings of our beloved Prophet (S.A.W) have been focused. Hope all of us are enlightened.
