Join Yannis for a weekend of creative exploration in photography that will expand your vision,
refine your techniques, and get your creative juices flowing. Learn what you can do to transform
your images into striking and memorable photographs. Yannis’ eye-opening lessons, challenging
assignments, and truly helpful and professional critiques provide you with the essential tools for
creating outstanding images.
This course is designed to help learn specific creative techniques. Students learn to think in
an alternate space and explore creative possibilities following specific criteria.
Duration: 2 day weekend, 9 am- 5 pm
Capacity: 12 people
Focus: Creativity, creative techniques, composition, creative risk, perspective, field work, assignments Cost: $285/person

Yannis has presented seminars and workshops to hundreds of amateur and pro photographers
in Canada and abroad, motivating and inspiring beginners and advanced photographers alike
for over a decade. His professional background includes a successful
commercial art career, as an award-winning advertising art director,
but it was his interest in photography as an art medium that led him
to considerable exposure the past seven years. Yannis has won more
than 250 national and international awards both in art direction and
photography and he has been recognized three years in a row with Photographer of the Year
awards in Ottawa. His photographs and articles on the subject of creativity have been published
internationally in magazines like Photo Life, Canadian Camera, Photo Art Magazine, and
PhotoDigital. Yannis has also judged several photography and design competitions over the past
ten years. As a fine art photographer, he has exhibited his work in more than 20 galleries.
