Goal…

• Intro to clay– Building...pinch pot, add onto, carve into– Vocab…pinch pot, score, slip…just to name a few

• 3 days building with wet clay• Final: size of baseball to grapefruit

I can…

• Create a unique and challenging form in clay using the pinch method.

• Add onto and carve into my clay to create features (face, wings, tale, feet, etc) creating texture.

• Capture movement through my form and through the expression and details.

• Create a final creative critter that is neat, clean, and finished and between the size of a baseball and a grapefruit in size when finished.
