Creating Personal Accounts in OvidSP

Some functions in OvidSP require that the user be logged into a Personal Account. Users can log in or create their own Personal Account by clicking on the Personal Account link at the upper-right of the main search page. In some cases, such as attempting to save a search, the user will be prompted to log into their Personal Account.

To create an account, click on Create a new Personal Account link.

The user enters the required fields (marked by an asterisk).

And then clicks on the Create> button.

Once logged into a Personal Account, the Personal Account Name and Affiliation will appear in the upper-left of the main search page, and the user will now be able to save searches, make annotations, and customize the workspace.
