Why use a Carefix post-op bra? Designed to cover all sizes

A Carefix post-surgical bra is specially designed to help you after breast surgery. The bra provides support and compression, and protects the scar and wound area. Using a compression bra after breast surgery and during recovery reduces the risk of post-surgical complications and the Carefix post-op bra range gives you more bras to choose from.

What are the benefits of Carefix post-surgical bras?Carefix post-op bras have several medical benefits. They reduce post-surgical bleeding and swelling, support tender and sore skin, aid the healing process and provide safety through the important post-op mobilization period. By in-creasing the blood flow, post-op bras also assist flushing harmful fluids out of the body during recovery.

They provide support and control to the scar areas at sudden uncomfortable movements (e.g. when sneezing or coughing), which is especially important in the immediate post-surgical stage. In addition to the medical benefits, Carefix post-surgical bras are designed from sweat absorbent and/or sweat transport-ing yarn, offering great comfort for you.

The Carefix post-op bras are all in a seamless design, which means that there are no seams that can irritate your skin or scar. They are made in a 4-way stretch material (fig. 1) which will ensure optimum support, comfort and fit throughout the entire post-op recovery.

The 4-way stretch material provides superior expansion and contraction ability, so that the bra will fit multiple sizes. If the surgical site is swollen the bra will expand accordingly, and when the swelling subsides, the material will contract and the bra will once again fit the size of the breast optimally. (fig. 2). This leaves the compression level intact, ensuring high support and the best comfort for you.

All these benefits contribute to an improved post-surgical outcome, a comfortable recovery and a better looking result.
