What is measured is improved. On a daily basis you need to track your key metrics and their respective daily, weekly, and monthly trends.
• At a minimum track the following;• App Store ranking.• Category and Sub-Category ranking.• Downloads.• Sales.• iAD revenue (if you use banner advertising).• Feedback.
2. LISTENING TO YOUR USERS

User feedback is an accurate predictor of your future fortune or failure on the App Store.
• Your feedback, both the ratings, and more importantly the comments are a gold mine. They provide insight into your App in the following ways, ignore them at your own peril;• Usefulness or entertainment value.• Desired or undesirable features and changes.• Recommend-ability or virility .• Simplicity or ease of use.• Passion level and buzz.

App updates provide the opportunity to experiment with and enhance your App.
• You can make the following changes during Updates; • Change your category or sub-category.• Update sales copy and screenshots.• Add or remove functionality.• Add or remove In-App Purchases.

Based on your daily trends you may want to make tweaks to optimize your profits. Warning: If your ranking, downloads, sales and feedback are trending in a positive directions DO NOT TWEAK, you could break something that is working. If you are considering making changes, high impact tweaks include:

• Keywords.
• In-App Purchases.
• Features and functionality.
