Inserting Menlo College images Place your cursor in the text editor. It should be a line or two below the last line of text in your

signature.

Click the Insert Image icon on the text editor’s tool bar.

In the Add an Image pop-up, you can choose to use an image already saved to Google Drive,

upload an image or insert a link to an image that you have saved elsewhere. If you don’t already

have an image in Google Drive, the best option is to click Upload.

You can either drag and drop the image file into the web browser, or you can click Select a file

from your computer and browse to the location where you saved your image.

If you wish to add the social media buttons, press Enter to go to the next line.

Follow the same steps you used to insert the Menlo College logo.

You should place the social media icons on one line, putting one or two spaces between each

icon.

Turning the Menlo College images into links After inserting all of the images into your signature, you can turn each one into a link. This is

especially important if you have chosen to include the social media icons, since they make little

sense if they don’t link to the Menlo College social media pages.

Highlight the image you plan to turn into a link. Begin with the Menlo College logo, then proceed

to follow the same steps for each image you inserted.

Click the Link icon in the text editor’s menu bar.

Hover over the image until you see the context menu pop up. On the Link line, click Change.

In the Web address text box, enter the URL of the page you want the icon to link to.

o For the Menlo College logo: http://www.menlo.edu

o For the Facebook icon: https://www.facebook.com/menlocollege

o For the Twitter icon: https://twitter.com/menlocollege

o For the LinkedIn icon: https://www.linkedin.com/edu/menlo-college-17877

o For the YouTube icon: https://www.youtube.com/user/menlocollegebiz

o Click OK after inserting the link, then move on to the next image/icon you wish to turn

into a link.

After you have inserted all of the desired images and links, scroll to the bottom of the Gmail

Settings page, and click Save changes.
