1Summary of EventThe Civil Rights Movement was a very important time in history. It started in 1955 and ended in 1968. The Greensboro Four Sit-Ins were a large part of the Civil Rights Movement. Blacks were not treated equal against other races. This was a time when blacks stayed in stores and restaurants they were not allowed to and refused to leave.
