Create amazing

parchment craft

pictures and cards

in wonderful, fun

surroundings, with

wonderful food and

good company!

Parchment craft weekends are held at the

Tower House Hotel in Bournemouth. The

weekends run from Friday afternoon until

after lunch on the Sunday, or from the

Wednesday to the Sunday

The cost of the weekends include

everything, i.e. 2 or 4 nights

accommodation; all meals; teas coffees

etc; workshops and demonstrations and

materials used during these. The

equipment you will need to bring will be

your basic parchment craft tools, pads,

inks, coloured pencils, etc. (a full list and

itinerary will be supplied)

During the weekend, you would be working

on a project which will be demonstrated to

you, and guidance will be given in all sorts

of parchment craft techniques. All levels

will be catered for, from beginners to

more advanced. Before the main weekend

there are 2 days of technique workshops.

The content of these workshops will be

flexible, but is likely to include colouring /

painting, white work embossing, lace or

grid work. There will be lighthearted

workshops during the evenings. These

workshops will start at 2pm on the

Wednesday, and finish on Thursday

evening ready for the weekend workshop

commencing at 2pm on the Friday

afternoon.

Tower House Hotel is about 100 metres

from Bournemouth west cliff and the zig

zag path to the beach. It is a family run

hotel and you will receive a warm welcome

along with good food. The hotel has en-

suite bathrooms / shower rooms, and has a

lift, but there are a few steps to the

front doors.
