Create  a  dropbox  folder  for  students  to  record  to  using  Panopto  Panopto  has  been  used  on  campus  primarily  for  faculty  use.    Students  can  also  take  advantage  of  this  lecture  capture  system  to  improve  on  presentation  skills.    The  student  who  created  the  video,  and  the  teacher  of  the  course  are  the  only  ones  who  can  view  the  videos.    Below  are  instructions  on  

how  to  create  a  dropbox  folder  for  your  Panopto  Block/Moodle  Course.      

 1. Open  a  web-­‐browser  and  visit  hc.hosted.panopto.com    

   

2. Under  the  USER  LOGIN  section,  select  Haverford  College  Moodle  from  the  dropdown  menu,  then  click  Log  In.      

   

3. Once  you  click  Log  In,  a  page  will  load  that  looks  like  Moodle.    Log  In  using  your  Moodle  Username  and  Password,  then  click  Login.    

   

 

4. Once  you  log  in  to  the  server,  you  will  see  a  list  of  your  course  folders  to  the  left.    These  are  the  Moodle  courses  where  the  Panopto  focus  block  has  been  installed.    Find  the  course  folder  you  would  like  students  to  record  to,  right  click  it,  and  select  Settings.  

 

   

               

5. Select  the  Overview  tab,  and  then  click  Create  Drop  Box.    

   

This  will  create  a  drop  box  folder  students  will  be  able  to  record  to.      

6. Advise  your  students  to  visit  hc.hosted.panopto.com  to  download  the  Panopto  Recorder,  and  visit  the  IITS  website  for  instructions  on  creating  a  video.
