• I é a corrente da célula (ou do módulo).
• ISC é a corrente de curto circuito da célula (ou do módulo).
• IO é a corrente de saturação reversa no escuro da célula (ou do módulo).
• V é a tensão da célula (ou do módulo).
• Rs é a resistência série da célula (ou do módulo).
• Rp é a resistência paralela da célula (ou do módulo).
• m é o fator de idealidade da célula (ou do módulo).
• k é a constante de Boltzmann.
• T é a temperatura da célula (ou das células dos módulos).
• a e n são constantes da corrente de ruptura da célula (ou do módulo).
• Vbr é a tensão de ruptura da célula (ou do módulo).
• δDBP é uma função que vale 1 na presença do diodo de bypass e zero caso contrário.
• δV é uma função que vale 1 quando a tensão énegativa e zero quando a tensão é positiva.
• IOB é a corrente de saturação reversa do diodo de bypass.
• VB é a tensão do diodo de bypass.
• mB é o fator de idealidade do diodo de bypass.
• TB é a temperatura do diodo de bypass.
