CHATTAHOOCHEE RIVER COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVALPROPOSAL TO DOUGLAS COUNTY

Summary

The Chattahoochee River Country Music Festival (CRCMF) will be the premier country music festival in the southeastern U.S., quickly growing to be the “Largest in the World”. CRCMF will take place at Foxhall Resort & Sporting Club in Douglas County, GA. It leverages this unique property, easily able to accommodate all the various attractions and parking onsite as well as creating the most premium VIP/Hospitality experience of any music festival. The CRCMF will be a safe, enriching, premium experience.

CRCMF brings with it significant opportunities for Douglas County, GA to generate more than $1 million in sales tax revenue directly related to the festival. In addition, hotel bookings, restaurant dining, gas stations, grocery stores and other local businesses will all benefit. Residents of Douglas County will have an affordable option for entertainment for the whole family in their backyard. The festival will spend more than $100,000 on labor for temporary workers over the 30 day period around the festival, jobs which can either be offered to Douglas County residents first through a local job fair or be offered as volunteer positions resulting in donations to the Douglas County School System and its many band booster, athletic and other fundraising organizations. First preference will be given to Douglas County businesses and contractors to provide various needs related to the CRCMF.

Significant consideration is being given to mitigate concerns ahead of time.

- One stage—Positioned away from residential neighborhood property. - Timing—End between 11:00 p.m. and midnight with an onsite honky-tonk dance hall extending until 3:00 a.m.;

Both reduces the decibel level and brings it closer to the ground; Diffuses traffic so that fans depart over a period of hours instead of all at once after the concert

- Camping—Onsite, affordable campground, encourages 10,000-15,000 fans to stay onsite- Safe Rides—Partner, Budweiser, will have a “ride tent” at the entrance which takes advantage of various

transportation partners to make catching a ride an easy and smart choice- Security—Comprehensive security and safety plan is being developed; Boat in the Chattahoochee with divers

onsite around the clock and a helicopter within a few minutes flight time of the festival; Security at all access points, VIP escorts and also includes plain clothed off-duty officers mingling throughout the festival audience; EMS tents in various locations that are clearly visible from the ground and marked on festival maps.

Douglas County Fair

Page 2: CRCMF- Douglas County Proposal

The festival includes the largest carnival midway in North Georgia, even bigger than North Georgia State Fair at Jim R. Miller Park in Marietta, GA. Whereas the festival has already secured the venue, will already be promoting the concert to bring in 120,000 fans between July 24-26, an opportunity exists for Douglas County to own the carnival midway, making it the first annual Douglas County Fair July 27 - August 2, 2015.

The break-even point for the carnival is approximately 20,000 wristbands at $20 each, which should be met in the first three-days of the CRCMF. That means Douglas County would be in a position the following seven-days to generate revenue, provide discount or complimentary access for entities such as companies or the school system, and generally to offer the exceptional experience of September Saturdays coupled with the largest carnival midway in North Georgia to the whole West Georgia region. There are options for entertainment Saturday, August 1, and of course, a venue to host local youth, church and community entertainment.

In contrast, the North Georgia State Fair draws 300,000 attendance with a smaller carnival midway. The Douglas County Fair could be marketed as a local event for county residents or regionally drawing from all of West Georgia.

CRCMF Team

Jason Benson & Andy Turner of CelebScene have built numerous successful companies and were recently appointed as management team of a multi-million dollar movie studio in Paulding County, Georgia. Their company, CelebScene provides celebrities the most effective and efficient way to communicate, market and interact with their fan base, business partners and events. CelebScene also brings to bear the Hollywood talents of partners’ Claudia Wells, Scott Schwartz, Jeremy Miller, Cynthia Smith and Ed Smith (Bios found at the end of this document). Good business management, fiscal responsibility and savvy marketing practices have positioned the team well for the negotiations, politics and organization of growing the premier country music festival in the southeastern U.S. to be the largest country music festival in the world.

Mike Brookshire has performed with nearly every major country artist and is an inductee into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. In his 13th year as the Music Director at the Academy of Country Music he serves as strategic advisor.

“An Award-Winning Country Artist from Georgia” prefers to make his own announcement at the appropriate time, but plays an integral role with feet on the ground in Nashville, booking artists, operational logistics and making those important calls which open big doors in the planning and execution of such a large festival.

Scott Powers of DriveTerrain serves as a Sponsorship Coordinator for the festival and brings 15 years of marketing promotions and event management experience serving brands including The Coca-Cola Company, General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Boingo Wireless, Jaguar Land Rover, LifeLock, Herbalife and Community Coffee. He plays a strategic role in linking CRCMF assets to the objectives of sponsors to ensure results that forge long-lasting partnerships.

Venue

Foxhall Resort & Sporting Club, host of the Festival, is America’s first metropolitan Sporting Club and one of the largest multiple event venues in the Southeast. Originally the site of the 2006 Atlanta Olympic equestrian events, this truly spectacular venue is the most beautiful and upscale site ever to host a major country music festival.

Foxhall is located 25 minutes west of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport at the end of 4-lane divided Fulton Parkway and Capps Ferry Road, providing easy access, yet feeling like you’ve been swept away from everything. The site of TommorrowWorld, the world’s biggest EDM festival (150,000 attendance), is a mile away and demonstrates the ease of access and logistics benefits of this corridor outside of Atlanta.

The property affords sponsors options to entertain customers in rustic venues crafted with natural timber and stone materials with amenities that include boating, shooting sporting clays, fly fishing, off-road ATVs, horseback riding, swimming, croquet, bocci ball, volley ball and more. Sponsors have access to all of Foxhall’s exciting amenities. More information at www.foxhallsportingclub.com.

While we are not permitted to disclose the lineup at this time, we can say that it will be 5 of these 8 plus 13 other national touring artists.

Festival promoters have given significant consideration as to how to attract families from affordable pricing structures to entertainment, geographic locations of family amenities, etc.

Midway Carnival is larger than North Georgia State Fair which has 300,000 attendees (one $20 wristband provides 10-day entry)

Regional Economic Impact

CRCMF’s model for delivering the “largest country music festival in the world” lends itself to correlations with other regional festivals. TommorrowWorld is the world’s biggest EDM festival and is located less than 1 mile from Foxhall and the CRCMF. TomorrowWorld's economic impact was calculated at $85.1 million, with $70 million of it in Atlanta and neighboring areas, according to a study paid for by the event's producers. That dollar figure is the same amount the NCAA Final Four Championship games brought to the city in 2013 (Atlanta Journal Constitution, Apr. 2014).

Claudia Wells- Claudia Wells is an American actress who was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but grew up in San Francisco, CA. Wells gained celebrity notoriety by starring in the 1985 film Back to the Future as Jennifer Parker, Marty McFly's girlfriend. Also in 1985, Wells co-starred in Stop the Madness, an anti-drug music video sponsored by the Reagan administration, featuring several famous musicians, actors and athletes. The following year, she appeared in the television movie Babies Having Babies and played the lead in the short-lived series Fast Times, a television adaptation of the popular 1982 film Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Despite her career moving forward on a coveted glide path toward entertainment success, Claudia took a break from acting when her mother was diagnosed with cancer. That tragic experience spurred her toward taking an active role in charities, the most recent of which is called KidsInTheSpotlight.org. To date, Claudia has amassed over 50 credits/episodes in film, TV and theater, but she considers her true on-screen entertainment career to still be ahead of her as she seeks out gritty roles that shy away from convention and push the envelope. When she is not working with charities or serving as an actress on set, Claudia oversees her fine clothing store for men called Armani Wells, which you can learn more about by visiting her website ClaudiaWells.com.

Scott Schwartz- Schwartz co-starred opposite Richard Pryor and Jackie Gleason in 1982's The Toy directed by Richard Donner. In 1982, Schwartz filmed Kidco directed by Ronald F. Maxwell. In 1983, he featured in the Christmas film A Christmas Story as Flick, who got his tongue stuck to a frozen pole. In 1985, Schwartz co-starred with Liza Minnelli, Corey Haim, and Jeffrey DeMunn in the television film A Time to Live. Since 2006, Schwartz has pursued his acting career, and helped create a line of celebrity-based trading cards for Donruss Trading cards, now known as Panini called "Americana". He has also obtained celebrity autographs for companies such as: Upper Deck, Razor, Leaf and In the Game. In 2008, Schwartz began writing for the sports card magazine Beckett, and was featured on the cover of the September 2008 issue of Sports Card Monthly alongside Darren McFadden and Josh Hamilton. Scott has recently stated that he will be working on his memoir, to be published in 2015.

Jeremy Miller- Miller was cast in a few commercials, then a 1984 guest role in Punky Brewster before landing the role of Ben Seaver, the youngest son on Growing Pains. As an actor, probably his most recognizable trademark is the "Ben Seaver Scream," which can be heard and seen in any number of Growing Pains episodes and during the closing credits of the movie Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star. Jeremy also lent his voice to the famed Linus on Charles Schultz, Peanuts. After Growing Pains, he appeared in the film Milk and Fashion, in commercials for McDonald's "Dollar Menunaires" promotion shot as a parody of the VH1 series Best Week Ever, and as the star of the 1990 Hanukah episode of Shalom Sesame (an Israeli version of Sesame Street). He has also been spotted in Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down. He appeared in a special celebrity team-up episode of Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? He and his partner got through to the bonus round in the end (but failed to win the big prize). He appears in the Family Guy episode "Not All Dogs Go to Heaven", He can be seen in four movies in 2009: Ditching Party, Never Have I Ever, The Fish and Tar Beach.

Cynthia Smith- Cynthia has extensive experience working professionally in the entertainment Industry. Born in Manhattan, New York she started appearing in national television commercials for English and Spanish television at the age of six. She also acted professionally in feature films and theatre into her teen years. Future credits would include

Page 12: CRCMF- Douglas County Proposal

working behind the scenes for Warner Brothers Television on the television series Growing Pains starring Kirk Cameron and Alan Thicke. Other credits include working for television projects at Universal Studios and later moving on to film projects at Imagine Films Entertainment with Ron Howard and Brian Grazer. Cynthia also did voice over work on many films including Air Force One and soon after moved into the sports business, assisting top Sports Agent Arn Tellem managing professional athletes and their careers. Cynthia handled television appearances on The Tonight Show for athletes such as Reggie Miller and handled many other public appearances and endorsement deals for athletes such as Bo Jackson, Darren Dalton, Jason Giambi, Nomar Garciaparra and others. In the evenings Cynthia spends her time privately coaching actors and actresses passing on her years of experience in the entertainment industry. Cynthia guides actors and actresses on all aspects of the entertainment business and has successfully helped launch many careers. She is still very active in the Entertainment Industry and works as a consultant on projects with her expertise as projects arise.

Ed Smith- Ed has had extensive experience working professionally in the entertainment Industry. He graduated from California State University Los Angeles with a degree in Film, Television and Radio. His very first job out of college was working behind the scenes as a production assistant for the NBC Saturday morning hit series Saved by the Bell with Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Mario Lopez. He then was hired by the Abrams Artists Agency in New York City where he worked in the Children’s Television and Theatre Department and then moved up to the Adult Television Commercial Department. Soon after, his career led him back to the Los Angeles area where he worked at the Ambrosio Mortimer Agency in the Motion Picture Department before moving to the William Morris Agency in the Television Talent Department. He then moved into personal management at Gilbertson Kincaid Management before moving to Florida, where he owned his own business and acquired his Mortgage, Insurance and Real Estate Licenses. He still works in the entertainment industry as a consultant and as projects arise.
