CUT Print out the templates for pattern pieces and cut out. Put the pattern pieces together with Scotch tape matching the markings in the corners, see illustration. SEWThread your Huskylock and set it for a 4 thread overlock seam. Place the facing at the lower edge right sides together and sew. Press seam allowance to one side. Repeat for all pieces. Place the pieces wrong sides together and sew the edges together from the lower edge to the cut markings as illustrated, the seams will end up on the right side of the hat. Leave the thread ends at the cut marking. Illustration A.

Sew the “points” together in the same way. Leave the thread ends at the top of each point.Illustration B.

Thread your sewing machine with sewing thread on top and in the bobbin. Turn under the facing at the lower edge to the wrong side and sew a seam all around close to the edge of the facing. Illustration C.

Attach the bells on top of each point using the thread ends. Attach the large bead in the center of the hat in the same way.

Put some wadding/stuffing/ fiberfill inside the points to make them stand up.
