How to Apply

STEP BY STEP GUIDE

a) Go to the application website: i. Go to the website www.cpri.in . ii. Click the ‘Careers’ link on the

website www.cpri.in after you have carefully read the detailed Advertisement/Prospectus

b) For new Application – Click on Description column “Apply online”. It will redirect to new URL and

will open Instructions details. Read instruction carefully and click on “REGISTER” button. It will open

basic registration page.

c) Basic registration page – Fill the initial details such as post to which applied, age, gender, category,

email address and mobile number as required in the form. Check them carefully before pressing the

submit link because you will not be permitted to change these basic registration details in this

application later. Press the Submit link, after checking.

d) Registration Successful mail will be sent to your registered email id and mobile number with

Application Number and DOB as Password. This Application Number & DOB as Password will allow

you to Login further to complete your remaining stage of your registration either now or later,

before the Last Date of Submission of Application.

e) Login – On the screen shown, press the Login button. You will be shown a link which will ask you

to Login again. Proceed with Login procedure by using the Application number and DOB as

Password, which will open the second page of the Application Form. (Note: If you wish to complete

your application later, you can leave the page. You can fill the second page of the Application later,

on or before the Last Date of Submission of Application, by going to the Application Website again

and logging in as Registered Candidate using your Application number and DOB as Password.)

f) Fill details on the subsequent pages - Fill up all the required information on the screens (which is

in fact the subsequent tabs of the on-line form) with personal identification details, etc. Candidates

should take utmost care to furnish the correct details while filling in the on-line application.

h). Please confirm all the details entered by you before clicking the SUBMIT Button. Or else go back

to edit the details. ONCE THE DETAILS ARE SUBMITTED HERE, NO CHANGES WILL BE ALLOWED AT

SUBSEQUENT STAGES. i) Upload Photograph - Photograph must be a recent passport size color

picture. Make sure that the picture is in color, taken against a light-colored, preferably white

background, and has no harsh shadows. If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections

and your eyes can be clearly seen. Also, ensure that both ears are visible in the picture. Caps, hats

and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.

The image should only be in .jpg or .jpeg format. Size of file should be not be more than 500 kb.

j) Upload Scan of Signature - Sign on white paper with Black ink pen and scan it. Please scan the

signature area only and not the entire page and ensure that the size of the scanned image is not

more than 500 kb. Please note that this signature would appear on the Admit Card, and if it does

not match the signature on the answer sheet at the time of the written test, the candidature will be

cancelled.

j) Upload documents – scan your document like proof of DOB (Mandatory), caste, NOC certificates

in PDF format only with size not more than 1 MB. If you have more than 1 scanned document, please

make it in a single PDF only.

k) Preview- You can preview your application form on clicking preview button before making

payment. You can edit your data by clicking Personal detail or Education and Experience detail or

can change/alter your photos/signature/document by clicking on the breadcrumb in top of the

application form. Please note, once you make payment you cannot change any data further. Only

can be done by sending email.

L) Payment – Payment can be through Debit card/Credit card/net banking only. The application fees

of Rs.800/-will be payable for post of Engineering Officer Grade-1 and Grade-2 and application fees

for the post of Engineering Officer Grade 1, Engineering Assistant Grade-2 and Engineering Assistant

Grade-1 , Technical Grade 2, Technician Grade 1, Assistant Librarian, Assistant Grade II and Grade III

is Rs.500/- which is payable only by General and OBC Category candidates. No fee would be paid by

SCs/STs/PWDs/Women and CPRI Departmental candidates. For successful transaction of

the fees, don’t close the web page or press any key on keyboard/ mouse, until

the web page display “Transaction is successful” message. If your internet

connection is slow or browser is closed due to any reason while making payment,

re-login and verify the payment status before making payment again. The payment

of the application fee is to be made through on-line system only.

n) Submit the Application Form & Print Provisional Registration Slip- Print Provisional Registration

Slip and carefully retain it for future reference. It will be only enable once the payment paid is

confirmed by Bank. You are not required to courier it or email it.
