COURSE INFORMATION

How long will it take? Our Diploma courses are held two nights per week part time and run for either 40 or 51 weeks depending on your level of experience in the industry. You will be expected to commit fifteen hours a week including class time and self-study. We know that location is important so we have classes that are close to home and work. Is the course subsidised?If you meet the eligibility criteria the cost of your course will be delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding. If you aren’t eligible, you can still enrol in the course as a full fee paying student. We have several payment options available. Give us a call to discuss the best option for you. Future pathwaysThe career outcomes are varied but common pathways include Construction Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager or Foreperson. You may also use this qualification as part of your application to become a Licensed Builder with the Victorian Building Authority.

CPC50210 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) will cover the major aspects of building and construction. You will learn to run a small to medium construction business and take overall responsibility for completing the construction of a building. You will also learn the skills required to understand the processes involved in selecting, overseeing and managing contractors, as well as how to successfully liaise with clients.
