Der CPA 12M ergänzt die Reihe aktiver selfpowered Systeme um einen hervorragenden Bühnenmonitor mit einer Spitzenleistung von 1200 W! Bestens geeignet für die Live Bühne, Theater-Beschallung oder alle Gelegenheiten, die eine dezentrale großräumig flächendeckende Beschallung erfordern. Versehen mit FIR-Filtern im DSP-Controller sorgt der CPA 12M dabei nicht nur für völlige Pegel- und Phasen-Linearität gepaart mit extremer Rückkopplungssicherheit, sondern garantiert durch die koaxiale Anordnung von Low-Mid-Chassis und Mid-High-Treiber außerdem ein besonders gleichmäßiges Abstrahlverhalten. Darüber hinaus reduziert die 3"-Membran des Treibers aus einer speziellen Aluminium-Legierung die bei Titan-Membranen üblichen Klirrfaktoren auf ein Mindestmaß. Bei der Leistungselektronik des CPA 12M bestechen das Weitbereichs-Schaltnetzteil mit Power-Factor-Correction, eine "kalte" analoge Vollbrücke für den Mittel-Hochton-Bereich. Weitere Stärken des Geräts sind das Multipurpose-Fitting an der Unterseite, das unterschiedlichste Montagearten ermöglicht, sowie die optionale Schwenk-Neige-Vorrichtung, die den CPA 12M in jeder Lage stabil hält. Die PU-Beschichtung des Gehäuses garantiert höchstmöglichen Schutz gegen schädigende Einwirkungen von außen.

A highlight among the new KS products is the CPA 12M, which complements the CPA line of active self-powered systems by an excellent stage monitor. With its peak capacity of 1200 W it may be applied in theatres as well as for live music shows or other events where a wide-range comprehensive PA system is required. Equipped with FIR filters in the DSP controller, the CPA 12M not only provides a perfect level and phase linearity combined with an extreme feedback safety, but due to the coaxial arrangement of low-mid chassis and mid-high driver it also guarantees an extremely even radiating behaviour.In addition, the 3“ membrane of the driver made of a special aluminum alloy reduces possible harmonic distortions to a minimum compared to conventional titanium membranes. The power electronics of the CPA 12M excel through the wide-range switching power supply with power factor correction, the "cold" PWM power amplifier for the low-mid frequency chassis as well as through the analogue full bridge. The multipurpose fitting at the bottom allowing different kinds of installation as well as the tilting/pivoting device stabilizing the CPA 12M in every position, are further strong points of the unit. The PU coating of the casing guarantees an optimum protection against damaging impacts from the outside.

Den Wegbereiter der so genannten Satellitenanlagen mit einem Subwoofer und zwei Mittelhochtonlautsprechern als Satelliten hat KS nun vollständig überarbeitet und dabei nach den neuesten Erkenntnissen mit aktuellster Technik versehen. Ergebnis ist ein Präzisionsgerät, das aus Sicht von KS keinerlei Wünsche mehr offen lässt und sich vor allem an Nutzer wendet, die den Klang einer hervorragenden HiFi-Anlage mit der Live-Verständlichkeit einer PA verbinden wollen. Besondere Stärke des SAT3.0 Systems ist das HDSP-Horn in den C10 Satelliten mit asymmetrischer Schallführung, das bereits in der CPA10 und CPA12 erfolgreich eingesetzt wurde und es möglich macht, Räume extrem gleichmäßig zu beschallen. Der Verstärker ist, wie bereits in der ursprünglichen SAT, in den Woofer CB18 integriert und bietet eine gut bedienbare geneigte Frontplatte bei gleichzeitig ungehinderter Kühlung sowie digitale FIR-Filtertechnolgie. Das Gehäuse aus Birke Multiplex bietet neben Griffschalen, Hochständerflansch mit M20-Gewinde und Stapelfüßen ein beschichtetes Schutzgitter und optional einen Transportschutzdeckel mit Rollen. Durch die PU-Beschichtung ist das Gerät unempfindlich gegen mechanische und chemische Einflüsse. Die SAT lässt sich mit einer Controller-Software über PC und USB fernsteuern.

C LW / CPA LW - the basic subwoofer with C-RIG flyware

Neu ist der Controller Subwoofer CPA LW, der sich dank geringer Baugröße besonders für den Einsatz auf Bühnen mit eher wenig Platz eignet, aber dennoch mit eindrucksvoll sauberem und sattem Klang besticht. Besonderheit ist hier neben dem ungewöhnlich hoch belastbaren 18"-Langhubchassis mit 114 mm Schwingspule und rippenverstärkter Membran, die Schallführung für Frequenzen im Bereich von 40 Hz, die einen optimalen Wirkungsgrad bei geringsten Verzerrungen sicherstellt. Der zugehörige Controller-Verstärker wurde beim CPA LW in die Rückwand versenkt und gewährleistet neben maximaler Leistung und Schutz für das Chassis die optimale Frequenzgangkorrektur. Dank der eingebauten Stereo-Frequenz-Weiche ist das Gerät darüber hinaus auch als Mono-Subwoofer nutzbar. Besonderes Highlight: die C RIG Flyware die sowohl die Integration in ein fliegendes Line-Array als auch stabile Groundstacks ermöglicht. Den Subwoofer gibt es als C LW auch in passiver Ausführung.

The company is especially proud of the new SAT 3.0. As a pioneer of the so-called satellite systems with a subwoofer and two mid/high-range loudspeakers as satellites KS has now completely revised the system, providing it with the latest technique according to the most recent findings. The result is a precision unit which from KS' point of view leaves nothing to be desired and is mainly suited for users who want to combinethe sound of an excellent HiFi system with the live transmission audibility of a PA system. A special feature of the system is the HDSP horn with asymmetric sound conduction which has already been successfully applied in the CPA 10 and CPA 12 permitting an extremely even acoustic radiation. Similar to the original SAT MK2, the amplifier is countersunk in the woofer casing, it can be updated via PC and laptop and offers an easily accessible inclined front plate with an at the same time undisturbed cooling and digital FIR filter technology. Due to the PU coating the unit is unsusceptible to mechanical and chemical damage. The casing made of birch multiplex is not only equipped with moulded recesses, stand flange with M20 thread and stacking feet, but also with protective grating and optionally a transport protection cover with rolls. The SAT may also be operated by remote control via a PC by means of a controller software. The new REMOTE software will also be applicable for the CPA 12M and all future KS units.

New is the controller subwoofer CPA LW, which is due to its small installation size especially suitable for the application on stages with restricted space but all the same excels through an impressively clear and rich sound. Its specific feature besides the extremely resilient long-stroke chassis with 114 mm voice coil and rib-reinforced membrane is the extraordinary sound conduction for frequencies in the 40 Hz range, ensuring an optimum efficiency with lowest possible distortions. The corresponding controller amplifier is countersunk in the rear panel and guarantees an optimum performance as well as a protection for the chassis and the frequency response adjustment. Thanks to the integrated stereo frequency-separating filter the unit may also be used as mono-subwoofer. A special highlight is the integrated Flyware. The subwoofer is also offered as C LW in a passive design.
