The Infamous Cox Brothers: The Men Behind the QBud and Bob Cox do not have stained reputations. They have a reputation for stains. Their notoriety in this area is the result of their extensive travels along The BBQ Road, a twisty-turny kind of highway that passes through a pretty fair chunk of the U.S.

The stains consist of a large variety of sauces sampled at joints large and small. The brothers have collected sauce stains that are hot, medium, mild, sweet, vinegary and even a mustardy kind of yellow stain from somewhere in the Carolinas.

Their travels have given the Cox Boyz a unique perspective on Q and, when they’re on speaking terms, a lot to talk about.

Back at home in Manhattan, Kansas, the Cox Boyz spend their time doing pretty much what they do on the road— eating BBQ and drinking cold beer. Now they have their own place, so they can have whatever kind of BBQ they want. And so can you.
