According to "two big and one special" development strategy and industrial structure, southern parts of the state proposed and implemented a series of measures to promote livestock development strategy to make livestock farming as the main channel of the increasing of the famers’ income. There are 7.8 million livestock in Kashgar region with output of 300,000 tons of meat. The livestock numbers and meat production account for one-sixth of the total amount of Xinjiang.
