Dear Mr. Salt:

As per National Park Service regulation 36 CFR 60.11, I am forwarding the National Registernomination of the 17th Street Canal levee breach site and the East Side, North breach site of the InnerHarbor Navigation Canal (IHNC) for your review. As you may know, the IHNC site is a federally ownedproperty administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Included with this letter are the completed nomination form, a copy of the applicants PowerPointPresentation explaining the nomination, the official meeting minutes, a transcript of the ReviewCommittees discussion, copies of support letters as submitted by the applicant, and a DVD showing

additional supporting comments (also submitted by the applicant). Should you choose to forward thenomination to the Park Service, we will be happy to send you the original support letters. However, ifyou wish to provide ideas for editing the nomination, we look forward to receiving your suggestions inthe timeframe specified by the regulations.
