November 15, 2015 To whom it may concern, I am seeking a full time position as an apprentice lineman. My schooling at Northwest Linemen College as well as my past work experience has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to be a perfect fit for this position. At Northwest Linemen College I have completed all my academic courses on electrical systems, transformers, electrical theory, linemen fundamentals, and others with a 4.0 GPA. In addition, I have passed all my field competencies such as pole climbing and groundwork, overhead and underground distribution, equipment operation, and many others with ease. My experience at Northwest Lineman College has made me an efficient, hard-working, skilled and knowledgeable worker that is eager to enter the field of electrical linework. Most importantly, my time at NLC taught to be extremely safety oriented and gave me the ability and the confidence to identify and prevent potential safety hazards on and off the job. My experience with the US Forest Service was rigorous and physically challenging. I worked with a crew of up to 5 workers on a daily basis and effectively shared crew duties. When members of our crew were not carrying their load I often picked up the slack and always maintained a positive attitude. I learned the importance of good communication skills which are necessary to work in a group. I enjoyed the daily challenge of reaching our quota. My work experience in the construction and renovation of a house familiarized me with many different hand and power tools and I learned the importance of hard, monotonous work that is needed to complete a project. I am confident that the skills I have acquired in addition to the new skills I will quickly learn, make me a very efficient worker and a good asset to this company. I appreciate your time and anxiously await your decision. Thank you. Sincerely, Kenneth Jones 59 Mina Avenue Red Bluff CA 96080 (530) 917-7715 [email protected]

To whom it may concern,

I am seeking a full time position as an apprentice lineman.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Kenneth Jones
