2. Course Aims: The course aims to identify the different classes of organisms. Recognition of differences between

cell structure with its function in human body. Also, the course utilizes the proper biological terminology.

All these, could be achieved by working effectively through a team which develop self-learning and

enhance thinking.

2. Course Aims:

The course aims to understand the basic principles of biochemistry & their importance for living

organisms. Integration between chemistry structure and properties of carbohydrates and lipids, vitamins,

porphyrins and amino acids is also considered. Meanwhile, the course describe the general characters of

enzyme, mechanism, kinetics, and regulation of enzyme function and also, discuss cell respiration,

including electron transport chain and its coupling with oxidative phosphorylation as well as

understanding of chemiosmotic theory and energy production in the cell.

2. Course Aims:

This course is designed to give student the ability in problem solving, experimental design, and

evaluation of data of clinical trials involving pharmacotherapy, data collection and presentation of

data mathematically. The course gives an idea about estimation of the drug’s effects on different

body organs and tissues, also provide the students with the basic principles of evaluation of the

results of experiments.
